Boreham Wood have made their fifth summer signing with the acquisition of Adriano Moke from Wrexham.

A pacy and direct wide midfielder, Moke started his youth career at Manchester United and Leeds United but he first began to make his name at York City by helping them win the FA Trophy and promotion back to the Football League through the play-offs.

Spells at Cambridge United and Macclesfield Town followed before his former York boss Gary Mills took Moke to Wrexham in July last year.

Wood boss Luke Garrard told the club website: “I’m very pleased to secure Adriano’s signature and we will try and push him to re-produce his very best form. He’s a great talent and I like the way he plays.

"He’s spent most of his life up north but with his mother now living in north London that has helped us enormously to secure his signature and I look forward to working with him.”
