Bristol Rovers striker Jamie Lucas has returned to Boreham Wood on loan after his first stint was cut short by a hamstring injury.
The 19-year-old forward scored in the memorable opening day victory at Halifax Town but his time with Ian Allinson's side was cut short by a hamstring injury which saw him return to Rovers before he was due to.
Lucas made four appearances in total for Wood, scoring twice, and picked up one substitute appearance for the Gas before returning to Meadow Park.
Speaking to the club's website, boss Allinson said: “Jamie’s return will strengthen our squad and is a welcome boost going into the weekend's game up at Macclesfield.
"I’m also very grateful to Bristol Rovers gaffer Darrell Clarke for his help and our chairman for getting this deal done. I now have four very good strikers available for the first time this season."
