Clovis Kamdjo has joined Boreham Wood on loan from Forest Green Rovers ahead of tonight's clash at Torquay United.

Kamdjo, 24, joins Wood on a 93-day loan deal which will see him remain at Meadow Park until December.

Speaking to the club's webiste, Allinson said: "I know he will be a big signing for us.

"He can play in a number of positions but I know exactly where he will benefit us most. I’ve brought him here to play and add strength to the side.

"With our new day time training programme already in place, I’m sure Clovis will settle in quickly and become a firm players and fans' favourite.

“He has power, strength and a tactical nous to sense danger and be a presence in both boxes. We desperately need that at the moment and I’m very thankful to our chairman and to the Forest Green management for getting the deal done with the minimum of fuss."

The Cameroonian begun his career with Reading before joining Barnet in 2009 and spent four years with the Bees before leaving in 2013 following relegation out of the Football League.

After a season with Salisbury City he joined Forest Green last summer but has struggled for regular games under Ady Pennock at The New Lawn this season and has made just four substitute appearances in the league - including in Rovers' 1-0 win against Wood last month.

He can play at centre-back, as a holding midfielder, a central midfielder or even up front.
