Teenage swimmer Portia Nicholas-Jago won three medals for the Great Britain team at the JCC Maccabi Games in Florida.
The 13-year-old, who lives in Shenley and goes to Yavneh College in Borehamwood, won gold in the 200m butterfly. She also landed bronze medals in two relay races.
Nicholas-Jago, is the youngest member of the British squad, has been swimming since she was four with local coach Sue Thorpe and has recently moved to Watford Swimming Club.
The other countries taking part in the competition included USA, Poland, Australia, Mexico and Israel.
