Boreham Wood will step up their preparation for the new season tonight when they host a strong Watford side.

The Championship club are bringing a near full strength squad to Meadow Park for the friendly with players such as striker Troy Deeney and summer signings Heurelho Gomes and Matej Vydra expected to be involved.

Ian Allinson's side have already had a busy week with a 2-0 home defeat against Arsenal last weekend before a 0-0 draw against Cambridge United on Tuesday at Meadow Park.

Wood will hope to attract a decent crowd for this evening's game against the Hornets and follow this with a home match with Reading tomorrow night.

Tonight's match kicks off at 7.30pm. Tickets, which are only available on the gate, cost £12 for adults while they are priced at £6 for concessions.
