The family of a lifelong Watford fan have paid tribute to him after he died in a crash.

Ben Bray from Bushey passed away after a black Piaggio scooter collided with a lamp post along Little Bushey Lane at around 7pm on Thursday, November 3.

Paying tribute to him, his family said: “It is with great sadness that the family of Benjamin Thomas Oliver Bray, born in Watford, announce that he was taken suddenly from us at the age of 35 on 3 November 2022. Just three weeks before his 36th birthday.

“Ben was involved in a motorcycle collision on his way to work shortly after leaving his home in Bushey.

“Ben was known and loved by many people in the local area and best known for his lifelong passion for Watford Football Club. He was an avid fan that attended matches most weeks.

“He was larger than life with an even bigger smile. Ben will be sadly missed by his family, Sue, John, Natalie, Lauren and their families. Along with his fiancé Kayleigh who made him extremely happy during their time together.”
