The assault took place at about 6pm on Thursday, July 9 outside the fire station on Shenley Road, when a 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were attacked by three people.

The man suffered a broken finger and the woman had hair torn from her head.

The second was a man between 25 and 30 years old, of heavy build with short brown hair, who was wearing a brown top.

The third was a white woman aged about 50-years-old, who was of slim build with short blonde hair. She was wearing a white top.

DC Michael Simpson from the Local Crime Unit in Borehamwood is investigating and said: “These were unprovoked assaults in which the victims were kicked to the floor.

“Prior to the incident both victims and the offenders had been queuing to get into Elstree Studios but were turned away as they had reached capacity and I am confident there would be a number of people around who may have witnessed what happened. If you can assist please contact me.”
