A 14-year-old girl who writes her own songs won a music competition.
Rosie Charles was crowned the winner of Elstree & Borehamwood’s Got Talent at the Ark Theatre, in Thrift Farm Lane, last week.
Rosie, who goes to Haberdashers Aske’s School for Girls, in Radlett, performed her original song – Cloud 9 – accompanied by the acoustic guitar.
She also plays the guitar, the piano and the ukulele and says her influences are Amy Winehouse, Taylor Swift and Maroon 5.
