Museum receives cash boost in anniversary celebrations
A museum has received a cash boost as part of celebrations to mark a milestone anniversary.
Yorkshire Building Society, in Shenley Road, Borehamwood, joined celebrations to mark 150 years of the society by calling on the public to nominate charities for donations of £100.
The society gave away a total of £150,000 as part of its annual Make a Difference Week, and Elstree and Borehamwood Museum, in the 96 Shenley Road community centre, has received a share.
