The chairman of a Radlett community group has stood down after nearly 13 years service.
Wendy Griffin became chairman of the Radlett Centre Trust in November 2001, and announced she would stand down at the group's recent general meeting.
Tributes were paid to her drive and determination, particularly shown through the improvements in the centre's foyer, stage and dressing room areas.
She will not be retiring from the board altogether, as she plans to continue to serve the group as a trustee.
Stuart Nagler, who with others was responsible for obtaining of finance and the building of the Radlett Centre, will take on the role of chairman.
